I hadn't thought much past lives but then about 14 years ago shortly after I turned 21 I started having memories of things that hadn't happened in this life. To start with it was bits and pieces but once the memories started it was like opening a gate and more and more came together and my fragments of memories started forming lives. Many lives.
A few years later I started a type of meditation and I found that it helped me bridge the divide between my conscious and subconscious. Initially it was difficult and I had to concentrate and found it quite tiring but it gradually got easier and I made the link quicker.
Then someone asked me if I could see their life. I doubted it but was surprised to see that I could. Not only could I see my own lives but I could see other people's. And since then I've seen many people's lives.
Seeing people's lives isn't just interesting, it helps people move on and resolve issues in their life. In seeing their past life I act like a conduit for them between their subconscious and conscious awareness. When the conscious mind here's what happened it is able to more objectively see the problem and let it go. It sees the futility in holding on and dragging it through life after life.
So, how does it work? Someone tells me what the issue they are having is, I close my eyes and I see their life running like a movie in front of me. I don't see their whole life just the part of their life that is causing issues in the present. This process only takes 5 minutes or so. When I open my eyes I tell them what I saw and I do a guided meditation with them to help them move past what happened.
When we have a lot of pain about something, that pain can become caught in our energetic bodies and when we pass on we take it with us - playing out similar scenarios in each life, trying to resolve it for ourselves.
We also often have people in our present life that we had in our past lives. Anyone we had a strong connection with will often stay with us. These connections can be good and they can also be bad. Emotion is like glue and it is impossible to stop any unwanted relationships by just wishing it so. We need to resolve the emotion associated with that relationship.
When I tell people what I've seen, although they haven't seen it themselves, they will often have a feeling associated with the memory. When we hear stories unrelated to us they sound just like that - stories. But when we hear stories about ourselves we feel a knowing and often an inexplicable emotion around it. This connection to the past, along with the guided meditation, helps us to move on and leave the past hurt in the past.
